IT Support Technician
Role Overview
As part of our 38th America's Cup campaign, we are looking for an IT Support Technician. This person will be responsible for maintaining and managing Microsoft 365 services, IT hardware, printers, and providing daily user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Provide level 1 and 2 technical support to staff (remote control, diagnostics, resolution)
- Manage IT equipment: inventory, labeling, assignment, preventive maintenance
- Maintain and supervise printers and multifunction devices
- Manage email accounts and access rights in line with internal policies
- Oversee software licenses and subscriptions
- Support collaborative tools (videoconferencing, messaging, office tools)
- Document procedures and create user-friendly guides (best practices, tutorials, security awareness)
- Track stock and procure IT consumables (cartridges, cables, accessories, etc.)
- Enforce IT security policies and access control procedures
- Support onboarding of new employees: account creation, equipment assignment, basic IT induction
Ideal Profile
- Two- to three-year degree in IT (e.g., BTS SIO, DUT Informatique, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in IT support or system administration is a plus
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment and office tools
- Basic understanding of networking, Active Directory, and user access management
- Proficiency in Windows OS (macOS appreciated)
- Service-oriented, autonomous, methodical, and able to simplify technical concepts for users
- Capable of documenting technical procedures and promoting IT best practices
