L'Oréal Group becomes sponsor of K-Challenge and the French SailGP team
A three-year partnership to support a mixed French sailing team, with the first event scheduled for March 15 and 16 in Los Angeles.
L'Oréal Group has signed an official partnership with K-Challenge, an innovative company in the field of sport and technology, to support the French sailing team competing in “the most exciting race on water”: the SailGP championship.
This three-year partnership is a continuation of the Group's commitment to the French Challenger crew during the 37th edition of the America's Cup, including the team that participated in the very first Women's America's Cup.
SailGP thus offers a new opportunity to support many members of this team—women, men, and young sailors, as well as engineers—as well as new talents, who will compete together to try to win the SailGP 2025 season Grand Final and its $2 million prize.
L'Oréal's partnership with K-Challenge will also support women's and youth teams in other competitions beyond SailGP, reinforcing the Group's commitment.
SailGP, consisting of 13 Grand Prix events in some of the world's most iconic locations, kicked off in Dubai on November 23 and 24, 2024, and will conclude in Abu Dhabi on November 29 and 30, 2025. All national teams compete on identical F50 catamarans, capable of speeds of up to 100 km/h, in a high-speed, state-of-the-art sailing competition held close to the spectators.
