SailGP 2026, a rapidly growing international championship
The SailGP organization today unveiled new details about the 2026 season of its rapidly growing international high-level sailing championship.
The season will begin in January 2026 and run for 11 months.
ASIA-PACIFIC
The tour kicks off in Perth (January 17-18) before returning to Auckland (February 14-15) and concluding the Asia-Pacific leg in Sydney (February 28-March 1).
AMERICA
The championship then continues its tour in South America and North America.
It includes SailGP's fourth visit to New York for the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix (May 30-31), as well as the return of the Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix (May 9-10) and the Canada Sail Grand Prix | Halifax (June 20-21).
The Rolex SailGP Championship will also make its highly anticipated debut in Brazil for the Enel Rio Sail Grand Prix (April 11-12).
EUROPE
The European series includes the return of the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix | Portsmouth (July, dates to be confirmed), the Rockwool France Sail Grand Prix | Saint-Tropez (September 12-13), and an additional European event to be confirmed.
MIDDLE EAST
The Rolex SailGP Championship will conclude in style with two consecutive events in the United Arab Emirates in November, starting with the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix presented by DP World (November 21-22) and ending once again with the grand finale of the 2026 season at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix presented by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (November 28-29).
